Well, here I am again, ready to report on Day Four of our Texan Adventure. I had really planned on getting us all out of Texas before the end of January but once again I have failed miserably. It’s been a month, I do believe we have overstayed our welcome at the Newman Hacienda.
So, without further ado, Day Four. In case you hadn’t noticed, the title of this post is once again food related. No traditional German delicacies this time around, this time we went south of the border. Practically the minute we walked in the house a request was made for my brother-in-law Steve’s famous enchiladas. We knew when we planned out the week that Steve would need the majority of a day to prepare our Mexican Fiesta so we didn’t really plan any major outings. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t go on any outings. Once again we divided up Mennonite style, the boys headed off to deal with some vehicle issues and we of course headed off for some more shopping.
