1 Lily construction

Determined. That would be the best word to describe me in the week leading up to Easter. I was determined to take a positive step forward in my neverending quest to get the church bulletin boards up to date. I have been in charge of five bulletin boards gracing the walls of my church for more years than I can remember and so far I have failed miserably in my quest. Those seasons just roll around too fast. I’ve tried the “create a general year round bulletin board” approach but that’s just boring. The holiday ideas come so much more easily. I had one a year ago at Easter time but of course never got it started so I filed it away for the next year. Well Easter was rolling around once again so I pulled out that idea and dusted it off.

I appear to be sticking with the musical theme in this week’s posts. I also appear to still be digging through my archives hoping to catch up. This particular post marked a milestone for me. My first out-of-state customer! The majority of my projects have come about due to word of mouth in my little neck of the woods but this project was an honest to goodness job due to my blog.

3 Little Mermaid

“Ahhhhhahhhhahhh… ahhhhhahhhahh… ahhhhhahhhhhh…” Why is it the moment you say “The Little Mermaid” that tune pops into my head? Out of all the completely catchy and humable tunes in that particular Disney masterpiece Ariel’s opening scale of notes is what always stands out to me. Oh, and by the way, I did just realize that I seem to have a Little Mermaid theme going here this week so bear with me.

First Pumpkin

The last time I left you all (which was again, way to long ago) we had time traveled back to October to check out “Revival”. We’re going to stay in October just a bit longer because I have to show you the amazing “care package” my sister concocted for out great-niece Sawyer.
